La Maison au Bord de l’Eau
The Maison au Bord de l’Eau, an old stone henhouse located on the banks of the Ourthe, has been completely refurbished to offer an immersion in a redesigned and reinvented Ardennes universe, for a warm and exotic stay.
In an atmosphere of raw wood worn by time and old furniture mingled and revisited, you will have the impression of floating on the water in the soft bench of the large bow window overlooking the Ourthe.
The bed in the master bedroom is suspended over the river that surrounds the house. This large room also features a sofa area and a wooden bathtub.
The second bedroom has a bed in an intimate alcove that opens onto a bathroom with cedar shingles. The third bedroom has two single beds.
La Maison au Bord de l’Eau will seduce you with the uniqueness of their decorative universe, created for this singular place.

Fantastic location, very well decorated/curated for a nice cabin experience
Unfortunately the service isn’t up to the expected standards for such a nice place. Not by a long shot. It isn’t up to any standards whatsoever. The cabin was ready 1h 45 min past the 4pm check in time. We were asked to wait in a cold room with our 3 month old. The lady at reception never apologized a single time. Worse yet, she never lifted her eyes from her computer screen, much less greeted me, when I walked into the reception. A basic “hi, welcome to cabanes de rensiwez, how may I help you” seems like the absolute bare minimum.
